RUSSELL JALBERT is a retired executive with experience in business, nonprofits and government, with a longtime interest in history and art. He greatly prizes his fine circa 1910 Acoma pot, a gift from his son — Ned’s first collected Indian artifact.
NED JALBERT began collecting Indian artifacts in Arizona when he was fourteen years old. He is now recognized as an authority on native North American tribal arts, contributing his knowledge and artifacts from his collection to gallery and museum exhibits, and serving as a member of the American Indian art vetting committee for the prestigious annual Winter Antiques Show in New York City. He is an honorary member of the Wampanoag Nation, receiving that honor for his recovery and return of King Phillip’s war club, an object of enormous cultural value that had been stolen from a museum years ago.
